Video for Featured Image

  I am trying to set the featured image on my home page to a video, but when I select it, only a circled X appears. Is there a dimension or size limitation I need to be aware of? Is there a plugin I should be using to make this easier?

  Regarding your question, Pique, the theme you are using, doesn’t support video headers https://wordpress.com/theme/pique

  Here is a link to our available themes that do support either a video header or a video in the featured content area of your homepage: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/feature:video

  Do note that most themes that include video headers also use a static image on mobile display.

  Hi there – Pique doesn’t accept videos for featured images. Are you using a specific plugin to achieve that? I see the YouTube Embed Plus plugin on your site, is that what you’re using to try to upload videos instead of featured images?
