Video from dailymotion – Encoding in progress
-
I added a link to dailymotion, but since yesterday is still ‘encoding in progress’. Any ideas?
Example of link:[dailymotion id=xkk44k]
Thanks!

It would be helpful if you also posted an active link starting with http:// to the blog and the post in question when posting to these forums. I would suggest deleting the link and starting over again, after you confirm that the video is in fact still available.

It is my first post here. I selected the blog when I posted the question, and I was expecting to be available.
Post link: http://leopardtrekfan.wordpress.com/2011/08/16/jens-voigt-on-fatherhood-retirement-race/Link it is available, and it is just an example. I have actually two posted, same situation. I also gave a link as example. Deleting and starting over is not an option, I already tried that. Also, my example should indicate that I understood how to post it, the only problem being that message, ‘encoding in progress’.
Looking forward for some other ideas.
Thanks. -
I’m sorry but I’m all out of ideas so I hope another Volunteer can help you. Best wishes.

“Encoding in progress” is the sort of message you get when the video itself hasn’t been processed fully at the source, Dailymotion. When was the video uploaded, and what is the direct link to it at DailyMotion?

Link is here: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xkk44k_jens-voigt-on-fatherhood-retirement-race-radios-and-more_sport
That might be the reason, I see both videos were actually uploaded yesterday.
Do you know what should I do in this case? Thanks to you, raincoaster, and timethief also for the help.

It looks okay now. Maybe you grabbed the code too early? Try again and see if it works this time.

Nope, still not working. Maybe I should check in the next few days….and just hide the posts for the moment.
