  Hello,
  My video header plays perfectly fine on any desktop, but not on mobile or tablet.

  Hi there,

  This is expected, and is why the theme lets you add a fallback image for the video header. Most browsers won’t display HTML videos that are below a certain size, which means most browsers on mobile devices. And some mobile browsers don’t support the HTML code used for video headers at all.

  You can find a bit more information about this on the theme’s support page at https://wordpress.com/theme/twentyseventeen/kokkiestrialtestdomain.com under the Header Media section.

  I did find an old thread in the WordPress.org forums that indicate it might be possible to force the video to play on mobile browsers, but that requires modifications to the theme’s PHP files using a child theme, and will still only work on browsers that support the HTML code used for this. Using a child theme on WordPress.com requires our Business Plan.
