Video in pages?

  Lately, I have not been able to place videos right in pages. Can you please help me???

  Can you let us know the title of an example post or page where you’re coming across this problem? What type of videos are you trying to insert?

  Hi,
  I have no idea what is going on? I used to easily upload Youtube videos by just pushing the add video and the URL. But now it wants to only add the link and not the video. Any clues??? I did figure out how to get around it SOME times by downloading the video on my computer and then putting it on. Even then it won’t do some videos?? But there is no way through the URL directly? So, I DID know how to do this at one point. I wonder if a setting got changed somewhere???

  That was actually a very old way to embed YouTube videos.

  You can now embed them following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/
