Video is OK in Firefox, does not load properly in IE

  I use Firefox as my main browser and use a number of video clips for example http://petermsalmon.wordpress.com/2009/08/14/j-surowiecki-alan-mulally/

  This loads and plays OK in Firefox.

  However, if I use Internet Explorer the video does not seem to appear, I just get a square and a little icon in top left corner.

  What is the problem?

  Can anyone help me? Is there an IE setting I need to adjust

  Version of IE is IE7

  Try clearing the cache & cookies in your IE browser that might fix the issue because it sounds to me IE is relying on a cached version of the webpage WP.com FAQ about Browser Issues

  Tried that no impact.

  Tried viewing on another computer running IE7 no apparent problem.

  Could it be the impact of updating Firefox to 3.5.2 causing a conflict?

  Many things don’t run properly on IE. It’s them, not you necessarily.
