Video links in post

That link does not help me at all, I have just tried to upload a video the way it said, and it wont work :(
So basically I cant upload/embed videos into my work?

You can’t UPLOAD videos unless you have the Videopress upgrade. You can put videos in your blog following the instructions I gave.
Is the video online, in one of the specified formats that link explains? If so, and if the uploader has enabled embedding, then yes, you can put it in your blog.
If it is not online but is on your computer, you have to get it online somehow, by uploading it to one of those platforms, then follow the instructions in the link on embedding videos in your blog.
I post videos every day. It’s easy. But you have to follow the instructions exactly.

http://justjennifer.wordpress.com/2009/09/07/putting-out-the-welcome-matt/I like Lisa Wilson’s book, WordPress for Dummies (2nd Edition), even though the information on WordPress.com is limited to a few chapters and is getting outdated with each mini-upgrade that WordPress.com does behind the scenes, because the book lays that information out in a logical progression. Diving into the Support docs is great when you know what you’re looking for.

Thanks Jennifer – and also raincoaster, I appreciate I maybe being a pain in the rear end, but I have to say, and it is even less easier now I have a cold :( but I find it incedibly hard this site at the moment :( the blogger site is easier, but NOT in my opinion as professional as this one, hence me trying to ‘crack it’
Which brings me to my next problem! Uh – oh I hear you say LOL! :D
When you do links….cant you just ‘add’ a link underneath the one you already have or do you have to put another ‘widget link’ there as well….I have JUST added another link under the one I have put all of a sudden it said link 1355 and it was not even under the links category
Whats happened lol!
Thankyou Jennifer I shall look at that link, as I am getting stuck as I said…..so will check it out, as I want a ‘as simple as I can get’ book to learn me – maybe the dummy book is meant for me hahahaha lol (Your cue to say no its not ;) )

PS OH WOW :O Thats brill Jennifer, and I have only taken a glance so far :O, I am with Rain coaster on this and shall be posting a blog I think :D
Will carry on looking and let you know my overall thoughts :D I only hope my page will look this good :D

Whilst you are answering this Question, if I should decide to change the template….would everything change with it, or would I have to remove things…ie would their own links be there and I would have 2 many…?
