Video Not Displaying Properly
-
Something has gone very wrong with the display of video — at least it has today on my blog.
After uploading a video, you’re supposed to have the option of whether or not to allow embedding, whether or not to display the title of the video in the first frame when it plays, and the ability to choose which frame you want to appear on screen before the video starts. All of these features have always worked for me in the past, but all of a sudden today, NONE of them are working. This problem affects only new postings of video, NOT video that has already been posted, although if you try to select any of these options for posting of video that you’ve previously uploaded, the options will also not work. Regardless of what settings you choose, embedding cannot be removed, the title is displayed over the first frame, and the default screen shot picked at random by WordPress Video is what’s being displayed when the video isn’t playing, rather than the thumbnail chosen by the blogger.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

UPDATE: Interestingly, about 30 minutes after I posted this message earlier today, turning off the embedding option regained its functionality, and then shortly after that, my individual choices of video thumbnails showed up on the videos to which I had applied them — the effect was simply delayed, rather than instantly visible, as it had been in the past.
The one defect that remains, however, is the placement of the video’s title over its first frame. I have that option unchecked, and yet, the title is still displaying over the first frame of the two videos publsihed in connection with my blog’s latest post.
