Video not displaying properly on feed

  I am having problem with displaying the video on my rss feed. At first I had you tube videos on my page – these are displayed on the rss feed as thumbnails of my videos and when user clicks on video he is re-directed to my website and there he can watch the video.
  I want user to be able to see video directly on the rss.
  I thought that by purchasing videopress I would be able to solve this problem. So, I purchased videopress, I substituted on of my videos to test and it made things even worse. Now, the video thumbnail on my rss feed is completely black with a question mark on it.

  Is the any way around it? I really need people to be able to see the videos directly on rss feed.

  As far as I know the videos have NEVER been displayed directly on a WP.com RSS feed. I’m afraid I know of no workaround at all.

  I think one of the reasons is that RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication with the key word being “Simple.” RSS feeds are meant to be fast loading with minimal formatting. They were never designed to include videos, audio and the like as that kills the “Simple” concept.

  Well. I found an app for “cali lewis” – she has an app with built in rss feed and it plays the video directly on rss. I wonder if anyone knows how she was able to get around this problem.

  Here is the link to the app. I am trying to build same format app – just cannot figure it out how they did on this app- how did they manage to get video loading on same screen.
