video not embedding

  I am having mixed results in embedding video on my blog, sometimes it happens, sometimes, not. Like with my current entry, I was unable to embed video from Comedy Central and now, youtube. There is a gaping maw where a video should be. I have checked this with multiple browsers, and it is the same across all of them.
  This is frustrating.

  youtube is now resolved, but comedy central is not embedding

  WordPress.com is restrictive with code that can be embedded into a post:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/shortcodes/

  please give the URL of the post you are having problems with.

  please paste the code your having problem with a
  <code> video code</code>

  and maybe a volunteer will know a work- around for comedy central’s video.

  I have successfully embedded Comedy Central (Colbert Report) video before:

  but now that I look at that entry, I had to go through vodpod to do so. SAME embed code as from directly off the Comedy Central website. This is really silly and a bit time consuming since, a direct embed rather than a “workaround” such as vodpod, since it is merely “collections” of videos from other sites.
