Video not showing in full width on a blog post

  Hi there!

  Using DEMAND theme
  When adding a video on a blog post, and choosing the video post attribute, the video shows as part of the blog content and not in full width as on the demand demo.

  My video was uploaded to the Media Library and I used the VideoPress code to insert it into the post.

  What am I missing?

  Hi Ralph,

  The Demand theme only supports the use of YouTube or Vimeo videos for the full width display.

  We have some more information about this in the “Using Post Formats” section here in the setup guide:

  Thank you for the answer dcole!

  Is not there a possibility to ask the developers to adapt it to VideoPress videos considering they adapted the theme to work on wordpress.com, it is logical they should allow wp stored videos to showcase in full width as well.

  Sure, I’ve sent this suggestion to the developers for consideration as an enhancement. Although I can’t guarantee that it will be changed, we’ll notify you if this feature is added in the future.
