Video not working

Re: azvhv.wordpress.com – I have a video on the static home page of this site. It’s been there a couple months and was working fine until today. Oddly, the space for the video is there, just no video. The same video on another of my wordpress sites, cashbackforheroes.wordpress.com is still working as it should. Same theme- Parament, same code, same placement on a static home page. I even tried copying the code from the site that is working, pasted and updated. Still not visible. Code is below.

Couple things that may account for problems.
1. I took the youtube code off of your cashbackforheroes site:

2. Try using the above code or the regular you tube link in the Dashboard Editor. When I made it in the New Editor (Beep Beep Boop) it gave me this: http://pasteboard.co/

Thanks, I appreciate your help! I’ll give that a try. What puzzles me is that it worked for a couple months, then just stopped. And the exact same code is working on the other site.

It could require an update of your browser or there may be a plugin or browser extension interfering with it.

I tried your code above, it’s giving me a link not an embed. Also looked at the azvhv site in Chrome, Opera, and Explorer…. no video.

Is is possible that there is something wonky with just the one azvhv site? I just pasted the old code in a site I’m not using and it’s working there.

Ok.
Let’s try another option. Can you confirm you are using the Dashboard–Post Editor? If so, try just cutting the link straight from you tube and pasting it back into the section. Hit “Save” for the post and then preview it to see if it is working.
There might be something wonky with the site, however I was able to view the video in Chrome using a Mac OS prior to the edits. Try the above option and let’s see if it works.

Using the dashboard but not post-editor. If I’m not mistaken I have to do it through the page editor cause it’s a static front page? At any rate, I did paste the link directly from youtube and voila… there it is! I really appreciate you sticking with me here, you’ve been very helpful.

Yes, one would need to edit it via the page editor rather than the post.
I can also confirm that it is working via Mozilla 32 on my Mac -
