Video playing on Video upgrades

I’ve recently taken out the video press upgrade. We have slow satellite connection here so can’t upload directly.( would take 2 hours for a 1 minute clip!) So I’ve sent the AVCHD video clips to brother in law who has set up a You Tube site and uploaded them for me.
But how do I get them to appear and look playable in the blog at high quality? I’ve copied the You Tube URL and most days they don’t show. Also how can I get them to play on the whole screen. Am beginning to think that its not a worthwhile upgrade for me, if they can’t be instantly playable.
I’m sure I’m missing something though ‘cos WP is usually simple!

I’m happy to look into this for you! Can you point me to a specific post or page where a YouTube video won’t display?
A VideoPress upgrade is not required to embed videos from YouTube — it’s only if you want to upload video directly to your blog, which it sounds like won’t work on your internet connection. I’d be happy to refund your VideoPress upgrade if you’ve decided it’s not right for your blog.
The video quality depends on your internet connection, so it’s likely you’re seeing a lower quality video on a slower internet connection, but other visitors can still see the high quality video with a fast enough internet connection.
