Video post not working
-
Hi, I noticed some changes on my blog when I try to create a new post. Before I was able to choose what kind of post i wanted and after choosing “Video” i was pasting the link and the video was fetching, so that it was visible on the main page of my blog – as a video post. At the moment I can’t see this option, I tried to paste the video link as a “link” , or as “media”, but only the link is visible – video is not being fetched.
I would be really grateful for any help on this. Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The reality of blogging at WordPress.com is that this is an ever changing blogging environment as this platform is on continuous rollout. Code changes are being made constantly and in cases like this new post editor, reversion is not going to occur. There has been a change to the post editor interface at https://wordpress.com/post/ and Staff are recommending that we bypass the New Dash in favor of posting directly on our sites. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/where-did-the-add-media-button-go?replies=2#post-1927520
For image uploading please note the Staff response here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/why-is-there-now-only-small-pictures-in-the-post-can-i-get-them-big-again?replies=3#post-1927594
The original place to create a post with full features to upload images, etc is here Dashboard > Posts > Add New and it works very well for me.
In fact I never ever use the Add New at https://wordpress.com/post/ which is undergoing changes as part of an ongoing project to make the site multi-device mobile friendly.
That is why the advice is to go to Dashboard > Post > Add New
For inserting images see http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/adding-images-to-posts-or-pages/

The video embeds that WordPress.com supports for all of our blogs – no upgrade required are found here.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/Video shortcodes are here http://en.support.wordpress.com/shortcodes/#video
The VideoPress upgrade allows you to upload videos from your computer for hosting and playback directly within your blog (or on another site you can designate). http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/ However, if you upload them to youtube or another supported video source site then you do not need the upgrade.
For a Flash workaround for unsupported video sources see here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/07/22/gigya-shortcode-3-widgets/
