Video Press Inline Player on Facebook

    When I post a video on Facebook, sometimes the player appears inline on Facebook and other time only the link with thumbnail shows up. How can I make sure the video with player always appears inline?

    Hi there! We don’t have complete control over what Facebook ‘grabs’ and displays from your Posts. When you share on Facebook, a URL is sent to them, and their system chooses what is shown.

    However, I can take a look at a couple of your Posts and see if I notice a disparity between them, and perhaps get to the bottom of why they show up differently in Facebook.

    Please send me a link to a post that appeared with the player, and one that appeared solely as a thumbnail.

    One solution you can try on your own is to debug your site on Facebook:

    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

    Give that a go, and then let me know if the next video you post appears as you hoped.
