Video Press: Remove Loading and HD bars

  Hi. when playing a video there are two bars that appear top and bottom of the video area, one showing simply an HD symbol, the other is some kind of loading / caching bar.

  These bars take up far too much time before auto-disappearing. Sometimes they are still there throughout the whole of the video. Sometimes you have to move the mouse about before they disappear

  The real problem however, is that the vast majority of viewers will only ever play a video once ie: for the first time, which means they will only ever see a cropped version of the video. This is ill thought out and needs looking at by your programmers. First impressions and all that…

  It’s been two weeks now… does anyone from support read these posts?
  Further… As if to add insult to injury, I just tried to check the notify box, thinking maybe that was part of the reason for my being ignored, and got this rather “snotty” message ” You need to actually submit some content!” The word actually and the exclamation mark are completely gratuitous as I was “actually” trying to request notification for my previous post!

  My subscription to WP is due in the next 50 days and you are not making a good case for me to renew.
