Video processing never completes

  This is the 5th time I erased and uploaded the same video (mp1) and it never completes processing. I tried with an mp4 file and it uploaded fine.

  Hello again,
  As I have previously told you we Volunteers cannot help with videopress issues and have sent you directly to Staff who can, I’m guessing your didn’t bookmark the support link for Staff. Type “videopress” into the searchbox here http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.

  VideoPress tries to process whatever you throw at it, but some types of codecs are not compatible. We should make a better list of those for you. Videos saved as MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio will get the best results.

  Found something possibly helpful. VideoPress uses the libavcodec to transcode video, and so all the formats that library implements should work. In practice though, there are often more variables that affect the process. Posting specific details about what file type and video codec is used by the video you’re having trouble with would help.
