    hi drhailin
I dont have a video with that name.
And I know the limit. But you must thinking of some one else.

Try to upload a new video today, 34,1mb and got this error

Cound not process video. Error code: 12. Please try uploading it later or contact support.

Please! Fix this soon! It starts to get on me nerves ;-)

and regarding button, why are there no button for the old videos?

    hi frafilm,

    I was talking about a 74M video from theimpossibleprincess.wordpress.com.

“Error code: 12” indicates the same issue with curl library posting the processed flash video to our file servers. Yes, we are working on fixing this issue.

For old videos, they were processed by a third party named Vidavee.
If you use them in your posts before, they will continue to display as before.
We haven’t added “sent to editor” buttons to those old videos yet as Vidavee needs to update their code on WordPress, and they haven’t done so yet. Once we sort out the new video issues, we will look at those “old video” issues later.

    hi drhailin
    thanks for answer.
hope you guys fix it soon and that Vidavee do what they are suppose to do ;-)
And I hope the new quality at least will be as good as your old system
Read something about bad quality for new videos, and I hope thats not correct.
The main reason I choose to put my videos on WordPress was the quality
and I want to stay, because I liked everything so far, except this glitch with the new dashboard, but Im sure you will work it out in the end.
Dont take to long time ;-)

    Hello,
The large video upload issue has been resolved.
You may delete the ones you had issue with before, then upload them again.

Or you can tell me your blog address, I can fix it for you directly on your blog without
    having to upload it again.

Upload works, as far as I can tell
    but insert into post dont!
    click button and nothing happens
got the latest version of flash and use Firefox, 2.0.0.13
so still some problems to fix.
and Im not happy with the quality in the preview of the video, but perhaps thats
only the preview, as Im not able to judge a true insert to post version.

    Keep up the good work.

We will have a developer look at the “Insert into Post” issue soon.

We are currently working to improve the video quality issues.

    drhailin: good news.
hope you find a solution soon

It is going to be a trade off:
For your music video point2008cont1.mov, the original size is 34M. The encoded Flash size is only about 9M, hence the reduced quality.

If we encode to exactly the same quality as that of the original video, the resulting Flash video will be 61M. That makes serving more difficult bandwidth can be a big issue for average users.

drahilin: The only thing I want is the same quality as before the new dashboard. That was good. This is not good. So I hope you can improve it to the quality it use to be
