Video stops playing when phone is turned from Vertical to Horizontal

Hi,
I’m not a tech guy and would appreciate some advice. I had someone build me a one page WordPress website.
Desktop view:
When I go to the website and click to watch the video, the video opens to the full page, which is great.
Mobile view:
If the video is opened in Vertical View, then the person turns the phone to Horizontal View (to fill the entire screen), the video stops.
Can this be easily fixed?
(The tech guy I’m using thinks it’s something to do with Eliminator, and has contacted their support, but no reply yet).
Is there another simple and inexpensive solution?

The 1 page website is being used for a confidential marketing proposal, so I can’t post it here, sorry.
I just wondered whether anyone knows of the Vertical to Horizontal issue.

Ok then, since there are no WordPress.com sites under your account, I have to assume that it is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

I had someone else make the website (who has now disappeared), and it’s hosted by ionos.com.
