Video Thumbnail Inside [New Post] E-mail

  Hello, today I tried doing a post with a youtube video link on its own; followed by a few sentences expanding on the video.

  While the video looks fine on the website, the e-mail received from wordpress.com didn’t show the ‘thumbnail’ to let the follower know they is a video in the post.

  Meaning, they only saw the text and no video. I had to tell them to click the post title in so they could visit the site and watch the video.

  Hi there,

  How videos (embedded and links) will be displayed is dependent on your subscriber’s email provider. For example, this is how a YouTube video is displayed on Gmail:
