Video Troubles
-
I recently moved my website from one domain on my server to another; as I had lost my primary domain name and util I can get it back; needed my site hosted on a sub-domain….
The website has been down for several weeks, so I am uncertain if this is an existing issue or related to my move; I hadn’t noticed any issues before the move, but that could be that I hadn’t been to the site in a while.
The trouble is with my media files… On some pages they appear black with a “Download File” link; and on others, the thumbnail appears, but the controls are missing and the media file (all flv’s) won’t play. I use Chrome and they all worked before. When I go to Media, the files don’t play either; nor do they when I add media to a page.
The URL for my site is: http://wy2.fallouthosting.com/
There is a example on the home page and others when you click the “media gallery” tab. I also noticed on the media gallery files, the thumbnails are distorted.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The website has been down for several weeks, so I am uncertain if this is an existing issue or related to my move;
The site http://wy2.fallouthosting.com/ is not presently down. It’s publicly visible, the links are working perfectly, etc. Has this issue been resolved?

I just moved it to a new sub-domain last evening; so the site itself is up and running; however, in my Chrome and Firefox browsers; the videos don’t appear or play… They seem to work fine in IE though…
I am reinstall WP core and see if that fixes the issue now. I have had reinstalling fix some of my unexplained issues in the past. [This did not work]… I have also tried deactivating all plugin’s and going back to a ’17 default theme; no joy.
Also; clearing my history and resetting my browser did not work; same issue.
Here are my stats:
WP: 4.8.2
Chrome: 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build)
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise – 1703 -
Good morning –
I don’t have any access to your site since it is not connected to WordPress.com. My suggestion is to post at the WordPress.org community for help. You’ll want to post this question at https://wordpress.org/support/
