  Am I the only one who is OUTRAGED that you have to pay to embed videos? The idea of sticking with wordpress now is inconceivable.

  You have to pay to be able to UPLOAD videos here, not to show them in your blog. You can host them elsewhere such as youtube, or daily motion, or vodpod, and then use the wordpress shortcode to embed the video.

  Direct posting of flash is not allowed here due to security concerns.

  For unsupported video services, you can use the vodpod button for wordpress and embed virtually any video in posts or pages:
