Video Upgrade question

  If I purchase a Video Space or Video Upgrade can I upload video files to my avid blog? Now, my blog doesn’t accept the uploading of video files..
  Help!

  I want to be able to upload a video file to my Media Library and include videos with images in a gallery on AVID.

  Right now, it’s all very confusing.

  Yes, in order to be able to upload video files to your WordPress.com blog, you will need to purchase the VideoPress add on. You can read all about it in this help article:

  Ok, this answers some of my questions.

  Biggest question I still need answered:
  Will these uploaded video files (through the use of Video Press) in my Library be compatible with the Gallery View in Avid?
  This is the theme’s main attraction. Right now, it only will display a set of images in a gallery, not videos as well.

  I need both to display (images and video) in the same Gallery.

  Back to my question: If I purchase Video Press, will the videos then appear in the Gallery view along with other images and videos (not just in a post!)

  If yes, I will buy asap-what is the refund policy if this does not work?

  Hi there,

  No, galleries are currently designed to display images only, not collections of videos.

  In regard to your other question though, VideoPress can be canceled at any time within the first 30 days of its life for a full refund. So if you try it and decide that you don’t like it you can get a refund for it within that time period!
