  I tried to post an article that would also include a video extract but I could not upload it. Was it a technical problem or my Free plan does not allow video uploading. I have upload videos in the past though…

  Free plans can use video on their site or blog via a third party site, like Youtube, by following these instructions:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/

  A plan upgrade is required to directly upload the videos to your site. See https://wordpress.com/pricing/
