Video Upload major breakage with playing the file

  I have a 3 minute video made from several clips, JPG title and intro, JPG trailer, and using transitions. Input clips are MOV type from Canon camera. Final video is saved as WMV (I also tried ASF and AVI) and they play fine locally, and on web site. When I view it in WORDPRESS, it runs like a slide show. I’ve build it over and over.

  I just joined wordpress today, and this is my most important feature to use. It is a show stopper. I’m still testing and trying things.

  More information… if I convert the MOV file to MP4, then upload the PM4, it works,

  To summarize, the subject video file that was made using several small MOV clips and output from the video editor (Video Pad) as a WMV, or ASF and uploaded to WordPress, runs like a slide show instead of a movie. Sound is okay. The “slides” are about 3 seconds interval.

  The subject movie as WMV or ASF functions correctly on other website, The upload to WordPress breaks it.

  When Videopad outputs a MP4 file, the upload to WordPress works correctly. Other WMV movies created by Videopad and uploaded to WordPress work okay.

  The problem movie has 3 JPG files at the beginning and two JPG files as a trailer.

  24 hours lafter account created… now the movies that ran like slide show… are now playing as a movie. An issue with the TITLE jpg still exists. Instead of being 3 seconds, it is a brief flash, and on to the next one and it works. It is supposed to be 3 seconds.

  Before you ask, the movies that seemed to fix themselves, I did nothing to them. I have been focussed on rebuilding the movie with various combinations of header and trailer images and related transitions.
