Video Upload Nightmare Goes On!

  From Raincoaster in a different thread, but same topic: “Try not using the uploader at all. Use the old skool [ youtube = URL ] and so on. Instructions in the FAQ. I used it just yesterday and it never fails. Works every time.”

  I’ve tried new school, old school….no luck. Oddly, I’ve never had a problem in my previous 36 posts of uploading anything. Same for my wife and her blog here. However, several days ago my wife got the frozen white screen. Finally, hours later she was able to post an image. Now, apparently, it’s my turn. I try to bring over a video from You Tube (using the embed code)…………..nothing. I’ve tried it using the actual URL………….nothing. Nothing, that is, but the frozen white screen. Wish I could figure this out. As I said, I’ve never had an upload problem before.

  Apparently, my upload problem-number came up on the WordPress roulette wheen.

  What web browser are you using? What URL are you using to access your dashboard? What exactly are you clicking on and typing?

  Thanks for jumping in, tellyworth. So get this — no sooner did I post my problem here, it magically got solved. How, I still have no idea. I pasted the YouTube URL where I normally would paste it — no differently than I had been doing for an hour — but this time, it went through.

  I’m not complaining but honestly, it’s like Rod Serling took over my blog for an hour.
