Video upload subscription
-
I will soon be closing my wordpress.com blog to launch my wordpress.org blog. Name remains the same : yazziness.com. Under the old blog, I had subscribed to 1GB video download and I wish to benefit from that service under my new blog. How can this be done? Thank you.

As long as you use the Jetpack plugin, you can continue to add videos in the same way.
They’ll still be saved through your WordPress.com blog, but the shortcodes will work on your self-hosted blog.

I have jetpack installed. Tried loading a new video on my new blog and got “must not exceed 10 MB” message. As I’ve mentionned, I paid to be able to download over 1 GB videos on wordpress.com but now, I’d like to do so on wordpress.org without having to go back and forth.

In that case, try the VideoPress plugin instead: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/video/

hmm this is a paying service. I already purchased the videopress service just a few months back with wp.com. I am not paying again.

If you already have VideoPress set up on your WordPress.com account, you don’t need to pay again.
Instead, by installing the VideoPress plugin on your self-hosted site, you’ll be able to embed the videos that you uploaded to your WordPress.com account with VideoPress upgrade on your new website.
