  Hi there,

  I wanted to add the Video / YouTube shortcode to show the video on the front page, but somehow it only shows the shortcode (I mean literally the code), while on the edit page the video shows correctly.

  We use Spectra + Savoy theme if it is important + the latest WP version.

  How can I add the YouTube videos in this case?

  We can’t help as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. You must ask Spectra support to know what’s going wrong.

  I’m not quite sure why the site doesn’t run on WordPress while it does :) Spectra is just a page builder, which I cannot use without the WP.

  I have the problem with WP default widget, Spectra has none with video / YouTube.

  This is the forum for sites running on the wordpress.com platform which differs from self-hosted sites as yours using the open source wordpress.org.

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  The problem you have is mostly caused because of an unwanted interaction between your page builder and our block editor. So my answer still stands.
