Video won't play on mobile or tablet

  Hello there.
  I’ve recently upgraded my WordPress site to the ‘Swell’ theme. This has the option to play two banner videos on the homepage. These work fine on my desktop, but refuse to work on mobile or tablet. The videos I’m using are hosted on my separate Vimeo account.
  Is this me being dumb (always a good chance of that) or is there an issue with mobile comparability with this theme?
