Video YouTube.com, button full screen mode
-
Hi, Support! Sorry for my english.
There is a problem with the installation of video. In the video player button is not “full screen” in the browser Google Chrome. Insert video shortcode [youtube = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaNH56Vpg-A%5D.
Is there an additional option to the button there?
Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The full screen button displays fine on other browsers, so my guess is this is an issue between Youtube and Chrome (both owned by Google). Most probably Google is trying to force people to click the “View on Youtube” button in order to see it full screen in a lame attempt to get people on their own website rather than yours.
But there’s nothing you can do about it from within WordPress. All you’re inserting is a link to the video on Youtube, so you can’t change anything about the video itself except the resolution at which it displays.

Thank you!
In the “iframe”, which gives YouTube a parameter “allowfullscreen”, he adds a button in the player.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/JaNH56Vpg-A?rel=0" frameborder="0" <strong>allowfullscreen</strong>></iframe>
And it works in Chrome, checked on another site WordPress.
Maybe it is possible to add a parameter in the shortcode? -
It does not seem like you can add that parameter to the shortcode. The only options to customise the youtube embed is in the support doc I included here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/
I also usually insert the embed code that you have here using the text editor, but wordpress.com doesn’t allow the iframe code, so it is stripped out the moment you update the post and then returns to the regular link. I had a quick look at videos I’ve embedded on my site. In chrome none of them are displaying the button, but in firefox they all do. That’s why I’m thinking this is a Chrome issue.
