Videopress and page load time

  I am wondering what effect videos added to a site using Videopress will have on page load time, will it slow a page drastically or is the video a code like with Youtube?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @javealife, if you’re using VideoPress the videos will be streamed, so they don’t have to load completely before the page is displayed. I hope that helps.

  yes that helps a little I am still concerned that it will slow the page Are you saying it works in the same way as youtube and it is not hosted by my server but just streamed instead? thanks

  @javealife it would be streamed from our servers, and our servers are built to handle it.
