Videopress and user submitted videos ?

  Hi,
  can videopress be used by site visitors and contributors to upload videos ?

  Like can user of bbpress upload video with their posts with videopress ?
  Is it really ‘unlimited’ hosting of videos with the highest paid plans ? What if my visitors upload 1000 videos ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Site visitors cannot upload any media or publish a post to a WordPressdotcom site (they can only comment on a published post).

  Contributors can write a post, but cannot publish it or upload media.

  To the best of my understanding, Admin, Editor and Author user roles can upload media, including videos, to a WordPressdotcom site if the site has either a Premium or Business upgrade plan. To confirm that, I have tagged this thread for Staff.

  Hi there,

  Only authors or higher can upload videos to a WordPress.com site, as @justjennifer said. There is no way for regular readers to upload videos or any other files to your site’s media library.

  You get unlimited storage via the Business Plan, yes.
