  Videopress- how to get videopress to appear in the sidebar of a self hosted blog?

  Also I have set up videopress for self hosted blog and got the plug in , but the video will only appear on my blog if I allow it to be shared? I want the videos to only be allowed to appear on my self hosted website and no other , but the videos will not appear at all if I dont tick the shared box?
