Videopress playback quality
-
Hi, I hope your day is going great! I use Videopress. The playback for the video I just downloaded is not good quality. The quality is great in the media library where I can play it back for preview. But, when I download the video into a blog post, the playback is not good. Is there any way I can control the quality of the playback when I insert the video into a blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I am actually experiencing the same quality in your Media Library and on your TEst STPweb page.
I suspect you may be playing the video on TEst STPweb before it’s loaded entirely. Could you test this out by waiting for the whole video to load before clicking play?
You might also do a test and look at the video in a different browser, other than Safari, such as Chrome or Firefox.
Let me know how this works out! Thanks much :)

Thank you. I should have mentioned I am viewing the video by choosing the full screen mode in the bottom right hand corner of the Videopress window. I have let the video download completely and in full screen mode I still get a lower quality playback than in the media library version. However, when I view the video in the natural size when the blog is first opened I do get the same quality as the media library version. I have not tried another browser. I will need to go to another location to try a different browser.
I would really prefer the better quality in the full screen version. Anymore ideas? Thank you.

Hi!
Can you try clicking “HD” in the top right-hand corner of the video when in fullscreen? When I use that option, the playback quality seems pretty solid.
If you would like to force HD playback, you can add this to the shortcode:
hd=trueHere’s an example of how that would fit in:
[wpvideo jLdqjRIi hd=true]
