VideoPress Question 2
-
I’m thinking about purchasing the VideoPress option because my uploaded YouTube videos have been such poor quality, even though I’ve followed the YouTube and video software parameters for optimizing. The original film clips are high def and should turn out much better.
I’d like to check out some WordPress blogs that are already using the VideoPress upgrade to see if, in reality, the videos turn out as well as WordPress claims. Can you recommend a few blogs or is there a way I can find them by searching? (Hope that made sense.)
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The prime showcase we have for VideoPress is WordPress.tv, which you can find at http://wordpress.tv/ .
Not all videos there are uploaded in high-definition, but you should get a good idea of what a large library of videos uploaded to VideoPress looks like. The introductory video on http://videopress.com/ is also provided in HD using the VideoPress service.

Thanks, Markel!
I’ll check it out. If anyone reads this and knows of another blog using VideoPress, please let me know. (I’ve looked through a ton of blogs and have only found a few.)

Surapp,
Your name isn’t linked to your blog so I can’t see what you’ve got. Have you actually uploaded your own HD videos to YouTube?
I admit I’m new to all this and don’t know everything! However, I start out with a high-quality film clip. Then I’ve followed YouTube instructions AND my video editing instructions AND camera instructions for the best settings for high-quality uploads, but the results, in my opinion, have not been good. From what I’ve read on the various forums, this is a common complaint.
I would like to see some examples from regular people (not videographers) who have actually taken their own HD videos and put them on their blog. Since there is a money-back guarantee with VideoPress, maybe I should just go ahead and purchase it.
Thanks for everyone’s help on this!
