  Thanks for clarifying. The inability to upload standard media (in addition to VideoPress issues) sounds like it may be related to the Jetpack connection on your site. Can you please report this issue to Jetpack support by asking here? They are in a better position to troubleshoot connection issues like this. Thanks!

  To clarify, if your site at projectcamelotportal.com is experiencing a Jetpack connection issue, it would also affect your ability to upload to the WordPress.com version of the media library.

  

  We are not able to help with Jetpack connection issues since we do not use the “plugin” version of Jetpack but instead a native integration that is always connected.

  Because we are not familiar with how to address the Jetpack plugin issue on your site, you can find help in the Jetpack forums here instead: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/

  Once they assist you in correcting the Jetpack connection issue, your ability to upload media (on the site directly and the version managed through WordPress.com) will be restored.
