VideoPress Upload Woes
-
I’ve been trying for two days to upload a 175MB video file to my site, and it hasn’t been working … The file is large, but is way below the max size. And, I haven’t had similar problems in the past with files that are similar in size (125MB, for example) … Is there anything going on with wordpress.com that I don’t know about? I’ve been able to upload other media files, so I’m not sure what’s up.
Specifically, when I try to import the video (either by inserting it into a post or uploading directly into the Media Library), the status bar will show very slow, incremental progress for about 30 min, and then when “Crunching” comes up, it never progresses further and there is no evidence of the file in my Library. Am I simply being impatient? (Although, on other attempts, I’ll get an error message saying the request has timed out, and I should try again.)

Hello there,
I don’t have videopress and ias you cannot find the help your need in the documentation I have flagged this thread for Staff attention. -
it is possible that the video may just be in a bad format. I’d try again in a few hours. If that doesn’t work, try exporting the video in a different format, preferably an MP4 with h.264 video and AAC audio (as only minimal processing is required).
If you can’t export the video in a different format, try http://www.mirovideoconverter.com/
