VideoPress Videos not uploading

  Hi I am trying to upload a video with Videopress. The short code that I am given is not working and when i paste it onto my post, nothing shows up. Please let me know how I can fix this. Thank you

  Hi there,

  You didn’t specify which video you uploaded isn’t working, however I went ahead and tested the most recent video uploaded, “robots=jobs final”, and that one was able to be embedded both internally to WordPress.com and on an external WordPress.org test site.

  Was there another video which you were having issues with?

  Embedding is fine, it is the VideoPress shortcode that does not work when putting into a page/post, etc. All the videos are embedded instead with the embed code versus using the shortcode which is highly preferred for multi-platform viewing. So the answer is…all of the videos…have yet to be able to use the shortcode in the WordPress site from the VideoPress generated shortcode.

  I’m sorry I wasn’t clear! The method of embedding which I used was the shortcode. All I did was copy the shortcode which was provided in your Media Library:

  [wpvideo vgXF2oIB]

  And then pasted it as-is into a post. Please keep in mind that you should make sure that the shortcode is outside of any divs, or other html tags and it should work!
