Videopress videos not working when viewed in windows internet explorer
-
I’m having trouble with videopress not playing on windows explorer, there seem to be two different types of video- one that says videopress. in the bottom right corner and has just a right pointing trianlgr the other with no logo and the triangle surrounded by a circle. the code is different on the edit mode too, no logo circle and long code works, short code logo etc doesn’t. the files uploaded are clips from the same video, and uploaded the same way. i cant see any settings that are different. works fine in firefox. I cant find any refernce to this in the help files Any suggestions?

Hi there,
Can you let me know what operating system and what version of Internet Explorer you have on your computer? Also, can you check to see what version of Flash you are using? You can check those things here: http://supportdetails.com/
Also, can you send me a link to a post or page where you see this problem? I’ll be happy to take a closer look on my end. Thanks!

internet explorer 10.0.11
flash 11.9.900 from Firefox.
BUT! when I look at the support details page from internet explorer it says flash isn’t installed… (I dont generally use IE but someone told me she couldn’t view the videos so i checked it). I’m a bit confused, surely either flash is installed or it isnt?

Hi there,
Even if flash is installed on your computer, it may be disabled in Internet Explorer. You can find out more information about how to enable it at these links:
- http://forums.adobe.com/thread/885448
Enabling flash in Internet Explorer should resolve the issue, but please let me know if you continue to have trouble with this. :)
