VideoPress videos supported in iOS?

  Hi. I was hoping you could clarify some things regarding VideoPress.

  1) I’m not able to play VideoPress videos in iOS. I’ve read on the forums that this is a bug, and I’ve also read that iOS should work fine with recent release. Is iOS currently supported? Is there some trick I need to know to get my videos to work? I’m using the VideoPress plugin to embed a shortcode on a WP.org site. Trying the ‘freedom=true’ attribute doesn’t make any difference.

  2) What is the max size video supported? The VideoPress site says 2GB, but the media uploader in WP.com says 1GB.

  (BTW, I agree with others in the forums that the poster images could use improvement being it’s a paid service.)

  Please advise.

  iOS playback is currently supported on WordPress.com. We’re working to integrate this with the WordPress.org plugin.

  The max size is much closer to 1GB, and we’ll look into adjusting that on the site. Sorry for the confusion!
