wont upload video files
I purchased the videopress upgrade. I loaded one iphone file but have been unable to upload others. I have used exactly the same method. All are large files but under the 1 gig limit.
Can you suggest any tips or things I could do to upload the videos?
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Are you trying to upload it to https://akennedyblogdotcom.wordpress.com/ or https://punchlinesite.wordpress.com.
Please note that videos can only be uploaded to https://punchlinesite.wordpress.com as the VideoPress upgrade is on that site.
If you are talking about that site, can you tell exactly what happens when you try to upload your file? I did find 2 .mov files in that Media Library.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Hi
Thank you for your reply. I am trying to upload it to the https://pinchlinesitewordpress.com. I managed to upload 2 videos already yet I have been unable to upload another. I have tried 2 alternate videos – both of which are under 1 gig- yet I have been unsuccessful!
Might there be anything I am doing or missing? -
HI there,
I’m not quite sure. Can you show me the error that you receive when trying to upload the third video? Please take a screenshot and upload that to your Media > Library.
Thank you!

Hi
I am uploading at present. What happens is that the uploading process jams/stalls with the blue line (sorry for non technical lingo) remaining static.
From previous attempts what happens after a couple of hours is that I get a message in red ” http error”. I have tried restarting my computer and emptying the cache etc. Iill upload a screenshot)
Many thanks for your help! -
Hi
I can’t believe it!! I just got an error message uploading the screenshot!
It says “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
THere are no problems with the internet system or my computer. Ill try and restart etc to see if that makes a difference.
Thank you! -

Hi there I have uploaded a screenshot of the final error notice I get when the site has not uploaded the video.
Many thanks!!! -
Hi there,
Thanks for the screenshot. For the video that won’t upload can you open it up in QuickTime Player first, and choose File > Export to > Web, then try uploading the video?
Thank you for your patience!
