videos blank in sundance; extremely slo-loading page; followup to 8/1, 8/6 posts

  I forgot to add that, in both IE and Firefox, once the background colors finish loading (slowly), it takes at least five seconds for the remaining content to begin loading. This is a pretty powerful laptop with very little on it so its not the hardware.

  I see some slight slowness, but nothing too major as described.

  OK, I’m in Chrome.

  It came up fairly fast but added a completely new problem: dual scroll bars on the right, it looks like the same site is opened twice, one on top of another. You can see the colors on both of them but if you click the “bottom site” it doesn’t bring up a site. Interestingly, it doesn’t do this in Dashboard, just when you click on the site or got to it directly via address bar. Back to the site, the scroll bars and slide tabs don’t work but up and down arrows do as so do the dot-links at that take you to next video.

  In both Firefox and Chrome, the site often comes up just fine at first, but when you refresh the page, the video comes up blank, leaving the excerpt and tabs from Sundance but no video.

  I only see the dual scroll bars in Chrome and I don’t see the dual bars in other sites, just mine, including www.clearheartcoaching.com, a separate website. Thanx, macmanx

  New Development: Here is a message that appeared in red over the blank (nonexistent) video on my wp blog in Chrome:
  “Service Error: There was a problem getting the configuration information. Please try again later.”

  That may actually be the problem. www. and non-www should not be separate websites.

  All browsers assume them to be the same thing, hence the mixed signals when loading the sites.

  Do you need both? If so, I recommend leaving your main site as http://www.clearheartcoaching.com and make your blog blog.clearheartcoaching.com by mapping the subdomain: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/
