Videos no longer play

Hi we have uploaded an number of videos over the past few weeks. But today for some reason none of them will play. On the home page we have one of a dog playing basketball which was working fine but now doesn’t. We have some other older ones which also now do not work. Other other videos on the home page have been embedded from youtube and play fine.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This video works for me > Dog playing basketball. All of the videos on your front page work for me and I’m using Firefox 6.0.2. With regard to the older videos that do not work for you please provide active links starting with http:// to the posts they are found in.

thanks for your help but everything is working fine. I was at work and found out that the videos were being blocked by the firewall.

None of my shared videos is visible, just a big white space with an exclamation point in the middle. This has happened before, but they usually re-appear after a few minutes. This time it’s different – it’s been at least 30 minutes. Very frustrating, particularly as I’ve no idea if anyone else can see them either. Videos are an important element in my blog.

You have far too many posts on your front page containing large images and multiple videos embeds. This means you blog loads slowly and as page loading time is a factor in page ranking I suggest you reduce the number of posts appearing on your front page > Settings > Reading and then start inserting the more tag to split content prior to the video and image insertions.

I cleared out the cookies and history, and that at least got the videos back. But the blog was still running as slowly as ever, so I changed the number of posts per page from 15 to 5. Worked wonders. Blazingly fast and responsive now. I’m very reluctant to split posts because I don’t write in that sort of way.
Firefox 6.02, upgraded very recently.
HTTPS – I never access the blog from any other computer, so do I need to do this?
3rd party cookies are not enabled.
Flash version 10,3,183,7, also recently upgraded.Thanks very much for your help – it got things moving again. But the StatCounter display still won’t work, and that’s been going on for a while now. It says “Word Press Visitor Counter” instead. I can still get at the stats, just not able to read them directly from the front page. StatCounter says it’s not their fault.
Nevertheless, the main problem is solved. Woohoo!
