Videos not playing

Hi, I´m new at WordPress and I´m having difficulties with video posting. The video option on my WordPress is not working. It uploads from my computer but it doesn´t play on the media menu nor on the post. I had a video posted, it was playing normally, but after a week of that post I wasn´t able to attach a video on a new post and the video posted previously is not playing anymore, plus the page posted shows ‘page not found’. It seems that the permission to have videos on my blog has been taken away. I can add a link from youtube, but I don´t have the option to remove the hyperlink.
I will appreciate your help to understand what is wrong regarding the usage of videos on My Site.
