Videos not Processing

    When I try to embed certain videos into the BLOG it will say “Processing” After an hour or so it will show the black screen on the blog post and say “Unable to Process Video” or something to that effect. It is an MP4 and other MP4 videos from the same source have embedded. When I go the actual media file, it will show me the video and play it. It just won’t embed.

    Hello there!

    I took a look at the video, and embedded it into a draft page here:

    I am able to play the video without trouble. What happens when you press play?

    Feel free to delete the draft, if you’d like.

    I suspect that you had a file size versus upload speed issue. Especially if you’ve always had success in the past with converting/creating video like this.

    Please let me know how that draft works for you, and how I can continue to assist on this issue.

    I am still having lots of challenges with embedding videos particularly if they are mp4. For instance, go to my site and look under media at the file – Summit Series – Practioner Perspective on Community Coaching. When you click into the file the video is loaded successfully and you can watch it. However, if you look on the bottom right hand portion of the sreen under the Preview section – it continues to say “Processing”. When I embed it into the post by going to the “Insert Media” section, it does the same thing. It will say “Processing for 3-4 hours” and then it will say that it cannot embed the video. I am trying to insert this into the Post titled “Community Coaching Day – Principals Speak Out and Speak Up” However, the same thing is happening if I try to embed any MP4. We are using your service to help with the professional development of our team, and this issue is causing us some big problems. Can you please let me know your thoughts on this. It may be helpful to connect by phone if necessary.

    I took a look at the video link:

    Then I clicked on “View attachment page” to look at the video embedded on a page.

    The video appeared and played just fine for me.

    Then I tried to embed a shortcode and I did see the error message you were seeing. My solution to get a working video was to paste the video’s URL directly on the page. Here is the draft I created for you to view:

    Could you take a look at that page in a preview and tell me if you’re seeing the video working well?

    Also, could you tell me the file size? You’ll want the file to be 1 GB or less for best results.
