Videos: Why are embed and download combined?
-
I noticed that you have a Share option of videos uploaded to Videopress: “Display share menu and allow viewers to embed or download this video.” Why are they combined? What if you want to allow another site to just embed and not download, like Youtube and most web sites do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t have the videopress upgrade and do not have answers to your questions. If you cannot find answer in the support documentation here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/#additional-info then try a forum search > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/videopress see results from Staff here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/videopress-how-to-disable-download-but-allow-embed?replies=4#post-639381

Thanks. The 3rd link answered the question, saying they had to remain combined. Not a really smart coding choice to protect uploaders. As for all the other questions, I assume I’ll have to wait until at least monday, since WordPress is closed on weekends.

Yes I did read the answer before I posted the link for you. The support form will be open again at 12PM UTC on Monday 25th July. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.

Perhaps you ought to include that in the email. See here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/long-time-for-video-processing?replies=2#post-653930
