View all posts button not loading older posts

    Hello Everyone,
    My blog has more than 8 posts and I wants to display 6 posts on home page. But “View all Posts” button not loading older posts. Please help me how can I fix it.
    And how can I customize “View all Posts” button?
    Like “View all Posts” button text change to “load older posts” text.

    Good Morning –

    I’ve looked at the site and there is something weird going on here… The first thing that we need to do is assign a post page. That’s the page where your posts are published automatically.

    Right now under Settings -> Reading
    You’ve assigned “blog” page as the front page of the site. That’s the page folks see when first loading your site.

    But, there isn’t a page assigned for the posts. You’ll see that in the settings. My suggestion would be to display your posts on the front page of the site which is the default option.

    Write back if you have more questions. We can take an other look at the behavior of the “view all posts” button once the settings have been updated.

    I have tried with front page but after that full content of post appears on blog page.
    Please help me more

    Hi rangersrajput, thanks for bearing with us on this.

    Do you know whether you’ll always want to just show the first part of a post on the posts page? If so, can you try adding a “more” block to each post?

    As for the “View All Posts” button, we’re doing some tests on that to see if it’s a bug, and will report it if it is.

    I have edited and static pages and posts are loading.
    I have added static blog post page as “Blog” page.
    And I have added some different blocks. But it showing posts only.
    Please help me how do I make original page visible.

    If you set the page as your posts page under Customize, then it will literally only show posts, according to how your theme is set up.

    If you want a page to show posts and other blocks, please use the list posts block. You can specify a different page for all posts.
