View Comments Assistance Needed

When viewing my Blog you have to click on view comments to view replies or post comments. I’ve noticed that most other Blogs just have a running line that peoplecan follow and read along just by scrolling down. How do I set my Blog to do the same? Please advise.

You can’t if your blog is a WordPress.com one, and most blogs don’t work that way. Your blog will appear to work that way if you look at one individual post at a time. But the main page of most blogs does not display comments on the front page along with all the other posts.
Read the thread in the forum at the top that outlines the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. I think you’re in the wrong place.

Wow!!! Thanks for the response raincoaster. You mean to tell me that my Blog does not have the ability to list posts in running order like most other posts. I have seen other Blogs that are WordPress.com Blogs that have this feature. Can I convert my Blog to a WordPress.org Blog to have access to this feature? Is there any other way to activate this feature inside of WordPress.com? Please advise and thanks for any assistance in advance.

BTW, this forum allows the running comments on it listed below my initial post but my personal Blog does not. This forum is a WordPress forum as well. Just food for thought. Again, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Care to share a link to a blog where you’ve seen that? And the blog linked in your user name is not a wordpress.com blog, which is why rain pointed you to the wordpress.org site.
rain is right – most blogs do not show the comments on the main page but do on the individual post. This forum page is like an individual post. If you go to the mail forum page https://en.forums.wordpress.com/ you don’t see the comments.

Comments are listed on each post’s permalink page:
http://stephlove.wordpress.com/2008/02/16/can-i-refinance-my-home-while-in-bankruptcy/
That’s about as standard a blog structure as there is.

Unless you’ve done something very bizarre your blog posts are listed in normal running order like in most blogs. What does not happen is what you were talking about in your original post: comments being listed under each post right on the front page.

This is exactly like the forum. Thread titles are listed on the front page of the forum, but of course you cannot see the comments until you make that extra click.

However, in Vivian’s Comment she mentioned the following:

I assumed that the Blog linked to my user name is a WordPress Blog since it’s the only Blog that I have. Please advise.

The blog linked to your username is stephlovetv.com, a self-hosted site. You can change that by editing your profile here in the forum.
