View Count Inaccurate

  Hello,

  Recently I noticed a major discrepancy with the view count posted on the reader’s end of my blog posts. According to Google Analytics, I see traffic/views/users, etc to a specific blog post much higher than what is displayed. I have both Google Analytics Dashboard for WP and Google Analytics Counter Tracker. I’m wondering if they are redundant? Possibly causing the mix-up? What should I do to correct this discrepancy?

  There are two different versions of WordPress. These are the support forums for WordPress.com, and you have the self hosted WordPress.org version. You can read about the differences here:
