View count surge on a single post (yes, I have read related questions)

So I have a very new blog, thewinningpick.wordpress.com, and I had a weird thing happen to me. I write a post each week that predicts the winners of the upcoming NFL football games, and my top three posts of all time are the three I have written for the first three weeks of this NFL season. Here is where the weirdness occurs:

My top post is Week 2 picks, with 1,077 views
My second highest post is Week 1 picks, with 91 views
My third highest post is Week 3 picks, posted yesterday, with only 27 views

I cannot believe that my view count for Week 2 is accurate, can I? The content of these three posts is nearly identical, with the Week number being the only real difference. Also, because of this, the tags are nearly identical as well.

Are my stats lying to me?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Check your blog links on Technorati.com and see if you’ve gotten a link that doesn’t show in your Referrers from something like Deadspin. That could definitely do it.

I will do some exploring in that regard, I am still very new at this stuff so I don’t really know what StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit, Technorati, etc. even do…But thank you for your help, raincoaster, I think I just need to do some educational exploration!
