View #'s jumped

  Today my views jumped to 204 yet I have only 10 visitors. This 204 was way higher than my history and yet the visitors number don’t seem to be in sync with the number of views

  Keep in mind that the page views are almost real time and the visitor count takes up to 2 or 3 hours for a visitor to be counted correctly – with a visitor they check to see if they have visited your site today – and that checking can take some time – things should normalize for any given day a couple of hours after midnight

  Also look in your Referrals and see if someone posted a link to your site somewhere

  It’s several hours later and the visitor count is 11 and the views are 205. There is no referral from another blog. It just seems like a mystery to me – a newbie.
